COCOA Gallery 2

This will be an interesting test of my framing theory. I am submitting my painting unframed. My theory is that people pick paintings from an emotional response to the work. But a frame is a decor choice. So if I put the painting in an antiqued pine frame and their furniture is all black leather & chrome, even if they love the painting they may pass on it because of the frame. So I’m leaving it unframed and charging less. Of course the down-side is that, if all the other paintings are framed, mine may look unfinished…we’ll see.

Here is the COCOA Gallery’s website, it is still under construction: http://www.cocoaart.org/
